yes.. with the following provisos..

Apple does not provide backup software for windows.. and windows backup is one of the most useless pieces of software ever invented.. even at win7 the home versions cannot backup to a network drive.. eg TC. Nor can they rebuild the computer without first reinstalling the OS.. useless.. rubbish. So you need to buy a proper network capable backup software with some reasonable workflow to restore.

I use Macrium Reflect which is free to do disk backups. You need to pay for the license for incremental backups.

Genie TimeLine pro..

I notice there is a free version now.

Know nought about it.. could be trial software.. http://www.genie9.com/free_products/Comparison.aspx

Mixing TM backups from Macs.. with backups from windows is not necessarily a good idea.. see

Q3 here. http://pondini.org/TM/Time_Capsule.html

You need to setup the TC to work with windows.. not hard but it sometimes is very slow..esp over wireless.

Niel,, so you are saying that I can connect this to my modem, then Windows 7 PC, allow the installed Norton Internet Secuity backup my PC and get the WIFI all in one. As well as drag and drop to it. It does not matter that I do not have a MAC? This will replace a Seagate or WD backup hard drive and having a separate router, Yes?
