Will the Acer T232HLbmidz touchscreen monitor work with a Mac Mini?

Hey!

I'm looking at buying a Mac Mini and I'd like to use it with an Acer T232HLbmidz touchscreen monitor. My questions are:

1) Will the touchscreen functionality work with windows 8 if I bootcamp it?

2) Will Mac OSX work and will it have touch functionality?

I'm not overly worried if the Mac OSX doesn't function with touch controls but I would obv want it to work as a normal non touch monitor when running OSX. My main plan is to run windows 8 the majority of the time but I would definitely need it to work flawlessly with full touch controls as a PC would.

Any help would be massively appreciated, I've googled it like mad but can't find any concrete answers :/

Thanks!:)

Thanks for the reply. I have read through some of the discussions on the right and I kinda guessed that I'd need drivers to use Mac OS with the touchscreen but I was wondering if the monitor will work as a normal monitor at least with Mac OS without touch but as a touchscreen with windows 8?

I could just buy a windows desktop or the monitor is available as an all in one as well but I thought it would be good to have the option to use it as a mac as well, even if its only without touch for now :)

So basically as long as it would work completely normally with full touch in windows 8 and as a normal monitor without touch in Mac OS Id be happy but wondered if this is the case?

I'm aware of the touchbase drivers(having read the other discussions in the right), unfortunately the price isn't really within my budget. I'm not specifically bothered about the touch function itself for Mac OS, only really for windows 8 which I assume will be fine, however I would like the monitor to at least work as a normal monitor (without touch)while using Mac OS. The acer documentation and most other documentation just talks about windows 8, I'm hoping this is primarily because windows 8 is their main market? But I can't find anywhere that says for sure that it will be mac compatible as a normal monitor :/
