Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu; depending on your setup, the path is either /Library/WebServer/Documents/ or ~/Sites/.

If your using Server.app (the Apple server software), then in the web-service you create a 'site' and specify which folder on your hard disk is storing the webpages for that site.

The server software will then as default look in that folder for an index.html, or index.php, or default.html file (you can customise this).
