Q: In Logic Express 9 why are some of the sounds in the media library not able to be found?
In Logic Express 9 why are some of the sounds in the media library not able to be found? In the arrange window if you click on the "Media" tab on the upper far right the sounds come up in the Library bin. The folder labled "08 Pop Horns" has 5 sounds in it. Alto Sax, Pop Horns, Pop Trumpets, Studio Horns and Tenor Sax. Whenever I click on any of these sounds to assign the sound to a channel, a box pops up that says "file not found". There are a few others that I've had similar problems with. I had Logic Express 7 on a Laptop G4 that I bought back in 2005 and it had tones of great sounds. I bought Logic Express 9 in 20011 because the salesman told me it has more and better sounds than Logic Express 7. Not only does it not have as many sounds, but many of the sounds that are listed in the Library can't be accessed because of the problem mentioned above.
I'm sure this is an easy fix and I'm probably doing something wrong but no-one at Apple has been able to help me. I would really appriciate any information regarding this glitch.
Thanks, Matt
