Whenever I sync my iPad Mini it tells me to update my iOS version 6.1.3 and when ever I click the update button it tell me I'm currently using the recent iOS version which is iOS 5.1.1 and that's odd because my iPad Mini is Running 6.1.3 and the version of iTunes I'm running is iTunes 11. And it keeps recognizing my iPad as the iPad 2?!?! Why is happening! Can somebody Help? I will greatly appreciate it very much

I have no idea I'm afraid. 6.1.3 is the latest iOS for ipads, so it shouldn't be telling you that 5.1.1 is the latest unless it's some sort of typo ro something.
5.1.1 is where the iPad 1 maxes out at, iPad 2's can update to 6.1.3 and will be able to update to iOS7.

About all I could think of is to uninstall and reinstall iTunes and see if that clears its cobwebs.
Can somebody help me I've already uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes again and nothing happened. Help!
