No visible Junk Mailbox

Question

No visible Junk Mailbox

After opening Mail, I noticed that Junk mailbox was missing from the list of available mailboxes. Have tried quitting Mail, trashng LSMMap2, DefaultCounts and the Junk.mbox folder for each of my accounts with no change. How do I get the Junk mailbox to appear in the list of mailboxes?

iMac G4 700, Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Bruce,

In the Mail Preferences/Junk Mail, select Training, and quit Mail. Relaunch Mail, and change the preference back to Automatic. However, Mail will not create any new Junk mailboxes, until it gets a message that it marks as Junk, or you mark one manually.
