I'm new to the Mac world so this is all a bit of a maze.
I tried plugging in my USB Plantronics Gamecom 780 headset to my Mac mini but it's not biting.
I checked the Plantronics website and it says it should work with OS X...
Anyone any ideas?

Thanks, sounds fab :-) Any idea how I could easily test if the mic on my headset is working?
I've selected Microphone USB in the Input Tab. :-)
When you go to System Preferences>Sound>Input and select the mic you should see a scale of Inut level. More bars turn blue with higher level
