Has anyone been able to get Airplay or mirroring

to work when you are using the hotel wi-fi? Just curious.

If you have, please share the steps. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Any hotel WiFi network that has been set up by someone with a clue will not permit any device on the network to communicate with any other device on the network, only with the outside world.

If the network is configured correctly, you will never be able to do that. If you could, you could potentially access every device that anyone in the hotel has turned on and connected to the WiFi network.
