Q: Unable to store songs in iphone 5

I am unable to store any songs on my iphone 5 through itunes. I have tried a lot of things but it shows all the songs in gray when I see the list of songs in ITunes for my iphone and nothing shows up in Music in iphone.

    Hazarding a guess. iTunes looked into the location of the files where you said the songs are and they are not there. Hence, it cannot "store" it into your iPhone 5.

     

    One of the possible scenarios may be the following. Presumably, you have not pick the preference option to let iTunes manage your library and are still leaving your songs in its original location. Subsequently, you decided to reorganize the folders and moved it. iTunes is still pointing towards the original location and cannot find it hence marking it out as gray.

     

    Possible solutions include relinking iTunes to the new location or recreating the iTunes library. To prevent this, you may also let iTunes manage the files.
