Does anyone know if the following video card is compatible with my Mac Pro early 2008? Just upgrade to Adobe CC and would like to take full advantage of the 3D graphics.

Thanks for the info. So I take it you're not certain about the GeForce GT 640?
Nothing on the page you linked gave the slightest indication that card works in a Mac, and newegg has great prices, but rather barbaric return policies.
In general, a card without Apple EFI firmware does not show a picture at all on a Mac. There are more cards that do not follow this rule, and more drivers in recent versions of Mac OS X, but you still need a picture on the screen.
Kind of impossible to know but it is low end and may work without boot screen in 10.8.3+.
You will find other sites that deal with such cards and possible issues.
You want it to be working out of the box guarantee get Apple's 5770 or one that is Mac Edition.
