Help? I have a macbook pro and have no wi fi connection.I have had this mac for 4 years and up until a month ago never had a problem. I fear that I may have messed up my connections from poking around in the network preferences. Normally, if there is a wi fi available, the computer would show the availability, but the wifi icon is blank no bars.
Start by going to System Preferences > Network. Does either AirPort or Wi-Fi appear in the list of network connections on the left side window? If either appear do they list the connection as "Connected?"
