my Macbook Air is OS X 10.8.4. I tried to locate it in Library, but it doesn't there or I did not find it.
can anyone help me, because all the attachments are stored in that folder. I know how to change it to other folder anyway.
just want to delete the old attachment stored there.

Mail Downloads is stored in ~/Library. This is a hidden folder, so you have to do additional steps in order to go to that folder.
Open a Finder window, select Go menu (on the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type ~/Library/Mail Downloads, so you will access to this folder
