I have a brand new iMac 21.5 inch desktop model.
When I click on any link in Mail, it takes me to Safari, but when I've finished reading, I have to open Mail again every time.
It seems to work like an iPad.
Why can't Mail window stay open?
Is it impossible to have more than one window open at a time on the desktop?
Very frustrating.

Does this happen only with Mail, or with other applications too? Any error message?
Have not used many other applications yet, because the computer is new, but as far as I know, this only happens with Mail.
No error message at all.
