empty safari cache and reset

I'm sick & tired of resetting safari and emptying the cache. I run my own online business and I need to carry out this procedure at least 4-5 times on a daily basis....it's so frustrating! I download updates daily, I check and verify disk permissions, I run system cleaning etc and it still occurs. How can I fix this issue? Is there something I'm doing wrong? Mac OS X 10.6.8
