I'm experiencing the same problem as the user who posted on the link

My ipad App Store app icon shows outstanding apps needed to be updated but when the App Store is accessed there is nothing there.

I now have 11apps that needs updating. I tried rebooting but it does not solve the problem.

I can only go to the purchased app page of the App Store to check for apps needed to be updated.

And even so, it doesn't show all the apps that need updating
