I want to remove apps from iCloud.
I have downloaded free apps and apps I am no longer interested in keeping. I would like to remove them completely. How do I do this from my iPad or Mac?

You can't currently permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them (so that they don't show in the Purchased tab) as described on the page that you posted from (as your tagline implies that your iPad is on iOS 6 then you will need to do the hiding via your computer's iTunes, it doesn't currently work directly on iOS 6 devices)
