Windows Compatibility Issue (?)

I cannot open iTunes with Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1; I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, I have unchecked to run in compatibility mode, and I have run iTunes troubleshooting, but continue to get "incompatible application detected". I tried using the recommended settings, but same results. This issue started in June....Any solutions?

iPhone 4S, Windows XP Pro, Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1
