Cant access hotmail on iphone after changing password on pc

Some reason could be that wether the email server is having issues or your Hotmail is set up to POP3 which is a protocol of email that does not allow any changes to be made on the email on to devices (pc, iPhone, Android, etc) at the same time. Try closing any current session you have open with hotmail (including facebook and twitter) then uninstall the Hotmail from the phone restart it and add the account again. If not working contact Microsoft.

Whenever you change your email password, you have to re-enter it in TWO different places in your iPhone. One allows you to receive emails, the other allows you to send.

1st: Settings - Mail, contacts, calendars - hotmail account - password

2nd: Settings - Mail, contacts, calendars - hotmail account - SMTP - Primary server - password
