Q: Are my ITunes U podcasts searchable in the regular ITunes store?*
I have a podcast series in ITunes U but have had people tell me they can't find them when they search either in the regular ITunes store area or in the Podcast store (where they would ideally appear). Am I right in assuming that these aren't automatically searchable in ITunes or podcasts when posted in ITunes U? Am I allowed to post them separately in more than one place? I specifically want them to be widely searchable as podcasts. Thank you.
Yes, unless your course is published to the main iTunes U store, it's content remains semi-private. You have to send them the link to sign up for your course if you want them to view your material.
