How many pictures can a 16GB iPad mini hold?

That depends entirely on the file size of the photos.

Talking in general terms a normal quality photo from a regular camera weights around 3 or 4MB. The larger the image dimensions, and higher the quality the larger the filesize. so about 3000 of those would fit.

If they are optimized you could probably get up to 10000 depending on the level of compression.

If you did not have Find my iPhone enabled on your iPad, no one can help you find it.

I hope you called Apple,, because you MOST CERTAILY can find your ipad,,,when the person goes onto it and signs up for wifi connection,, you can locate it.

You felt the need to correct a 4 month old thread why? And no, as has been said unless you have Find my iPad enabled there no way to find it. Even if they connect to Wifi.
