HP Photosmart 7510 wireless printer won't connect to desktop iMac

First, make sure the printer is still connected to the wireless network. You can do this by printing a wireless network test. Press the wireless button on the front of the printer. Press settings. Scroll down to and touch Run Wireless Test. Once the test is done, a page will print. This page will let you know if the printer is still connected to the network or not.

If it's not connected, run the wireless setup wizard to reconnect it.

If it shows connected, the next thing to try is a power cycle of the network. Turn off the printer, Mac, and unplug your router. Wait 30 seconds. Plug in the router, but leave the printer and Mac turned off. Wait for 1 or 2 minutes to give the router a chance to stabilize. Once it's stable, turn on the Mac and printer. See if it will connect now.

Just curious, HP normally does not participate in these discussions. Sometimes one of their contractors that represent HP in the retail sector indicate they are HP employees when they are not.

Nope. I'm the real thing. 🙂 Due to FCC regulations, I have to disclose that I'm an employee. HP could get fined something like $10,000 per incident if I don't, and I'm pretty sure that would mean me getting fired very quickly. 🙂

I had Apple Care assist me in setting up by mew 3 TB Time Capsule to act as my router as well as for backing up. However, now my HP Photosmart 7510 won't print. I did a Test Print and it shows wireless is on and connected to my Network, but if I print a document such as from Word, it won't find the printer. Can you assist me?
