My batter was working fine but then got stuck on 19% and then just randomly died i let it charge after it powered off and it went to 12%.then it didnt move. i powered it off and turned it on again it dropped to 3 percent. Its stuck on 3% and if i disconnect it, it powers off and the percentage stays on 3% do i have a faulty battery or a faulty iphone? help me!

Diagnostics are free....
there is no apple in a 5 mile radius to me.
The closest one to me is about 90 miles, doesn't stop me.

There you go, the restore didn't seem to worked out.
It's a myth that you can restore to a pristine stage.

i jjail broke on ios 6.1.1 then later i un jailbroke it and then just kept on updating now im on ios 6.1.13 i dont think the jailbreak has the affect a couple months later after ive had this ios for a couple months. thats ilogical

Suppose it isn't that important to you then.
Then just quit using the iPhone and get one you can afford.
You can send the iPhone in and have the battery tested. If it is bad, and you don't have the warranty, it is $79 to replace the battery.
i cant go all the way to the apple store just for that dianostic test, personal reasons. if it wasnt important i dont think id be on this looking for a solution. i created this just to find an answer
