iCal and iPhone show different times for same appointment from exchange account

I just purchased MacBook Pro. And I must say the retina display is beautiful.

However after I set up my exchange email account in the mail application, and it automatically setup my calendar and contacts, I ran into a little trouble.

The calendar events as shown on my iPhone and my iPad are not consistent with what iCal shows. Some of the events I have come for my business partners in different time zones.

I've tried turning on and off time zone support in iCal. And I'm very comfortable with how to use time zone support on my iPhone. both are presently set to the Pacific time zone.

Anyone having similar trouble?or know of a workaround?
