Hi, I live in a humid country (Lagos, Nigeria) without an apple store around me. My IMac screen has started to get dark patches on the corners. Is there any way to clean this or prevent this from spreading? I can't seem to take a clear picture of this.

I am assuming here that the dark patches are inside of the iMac? If that is the case there is little you can do without voiding warranty. You say you live in a humid country, so I can suggest moving the machine to a room that is airconditioned. However you probably would have done that already if that was an option.
It seems to me that your only (supported) option is calling Apple for support.
