Is it possible to keep my iPhone transferring photos to my Mac, but PREVENT pictures on my Mac in iPhoto from tranferring on to my iPhone?
Are you asking about the Photo Stream?
Set up the iPhoto Preferences for Photo Stream on your Mac to enable "My Photo Stream" and "Automatic Import", but disable "Automatic Upload". This way you will download all photos added to the Photo stream on your iPhone, but not upload the photo from your Mac to the phone.
