Can i use appnap if i upgrade my 2012-15 (non retina) to sdd?

Power Nap requires a special firmware to work. That firmware is only available for the MacBook Pro with Retina display and Late 2010 and newer MacBooks Air, so if you install a SSD on the MacBook Pro, you won't get Power Nap
