Logic pro 9 bug... Please help!

I use logic 9. Actually it's only been 2 days since i started using it.
Now i have an error which Plugins disappear when i click them. Instead of giving me options to choose plugins it removes the plugins that were already applied as i click them. How do i resolve this?

*Oh and also I duplicated tracks by holding Alt and drag. Now they act as one track. I wanted to pan them separately but they move together. How do I isolate them?
