I got it setup at the apple store, I guess it automatically upgraded to IOS 6.1.3, i was wondering if there is a way to restore it to its original software, can anyone tell me if its possible?
iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3, maybe factory reset?
There is no Apple approved method to downgrade. As a side note, it most likely shipped with 6.1.3.
I can only guess you wanted to jailbreak it. Sorry, there was a 1-hour window open a few days ago when Apple was signing older iOS 6 firmwares, but as of now there is no way to downgrade. Just enjoy the stability of Apple-approved software for now 🙂
