What do i do if ipod video/classic 5th has a white screen and no connection to itunes?

I tried everthing and couldnt find an answear and i looked everywhere. Im really trying to fix it and it comes to my attention that i may have to replace the hardrive but this is my last try to see if anyone would help me or theres others with the same problem.:[😟
