no acces to MacBook with FileBrowser from IPad2, please help?

hello,

Ive got my first Mac, yeah!

I already succesfully established acces to my AirportTimeCapsule with the FileBrowser app on my ipad2. Now I want to acces files on my MacBook using the FBapp. FB recognizes my MB and im asked for a loginname and password. Access is denied everytime im using the same login and pw to start up my MB (after shutdown). What am i doing wrong? I already followed up the suggestions on the FB site (firewall-settings, sharing settings (SMB). Nothing works.

Can anyone help me out please?

Thanks!

Sander

Logmein uses it's own protocol for sharing files. If you follow that guideline then you will be able to see what users you are sharing with. Once you know the user then you can see if you are using the correct password.

You can right click (cntrl+click) on the folder and select "get info" then go all the way to the bottom and you will see sharing. there you will see what users are being shared to.

I checked and all my folders are shared with everyone...

Its like the password and loginname on my MB and to access my MB via FileBrowser are not the same! Is that even possible?

I already bought the FB version because i thought using the free version was causing the problems, no effect.

Shutting down Firewall for a sec didnt make a change...

The fact im using AirportTimeCapsule cant be of any influence *** well. When i connect both, ipad and MB, directly to my router its the same issue.

Probably it will be a very simple little thing but im overseeing it...
