Q: I need help with auto brightness IPhone 5
It's been since May I have been waiting for my auto brightness for it to be actually working.
Thought an update to 6.1.4 would help but no
I have asked in tmobile have me instructions to power on off then adjust the brightness in dark and lit rooms and it should be working
Not that I mind manually adjusting it but would it kill apple to put a brightness bar in the next to the volume or even in notifications

Try restart, then a reset, then a restore from backup, then restore as new. If after all four of those steps, it still doesn't work properly, contact Apple Support or schedule an appointment at a local Apple store; it's likely a hardware issue.
