Unlocked Iphone cdma/gsm

Is there ever a chance that apple will ever create a unlocked CDMA/GSM world phone? I mean as in a world phone that can do all gsm carriers around the world including CDMA Verizon/Sprint in the US and KDDI in Japan and, or anywhere else they offer CDMA in the world?

No CDMA phones are unlocked.

The GSM side of the Verizon iPhone 5 is unlocked. There really isn't anything such as a "lock" on the CDMA side but most CDMA carriers (and there are fewer of them every year) will not accept a brought in phone and will refuse to flash it.
