Q: Using Apple TV with directv

appletv only support playing media from

1 itunes shared lib on a computer

2 the internet based features you can choose and listed here

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see airplay mirroring listed. That lets you view most all video on your tv from your ipad, ipod touch, iphone, or mac, if you have the latest models.

I don't have Direct tv, so don't know how all that works. I imagine there is a web app that would let you get to your playlist and see that on your tv.
