Are you getting a blue screen on the iPad or on the computer when you connect the iPad?


If you are getting a blue screen on the computer after connecting your iPad, use this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1502


If you are getting a blue screen on the iPad:

  1. Try turning iPad off and then on again.
  2. If the iPad will not turn off, try to reset it: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, try restoring the iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
