Scroll wheel error, help requested.

My the pause/play button on my scroll wheel only works when I push really hard on it.
If I press at it with the same power as I press at the other buttons it won't respond. Sometimes it doesn't respond at all.
I think it's broken because the button didn't act like this yesterday.....
Does anyone know what I have to do?

Welcome to Apple Discussions!

Make sure that there is not a simple software glitch going on by trying the Five Rs.

If you reset and restore the iPod, along with the other 3Rs, and the problem persists, your iPod may need service...

Thanks for your reply,
I tried all the 5 R's, but it didn't solved the problem,
that's why I posted and looked around on the forum.
I didn't bought my I-pod directly from Apple but from an
(authorised) dutch company.
Can I contact Apple or should I contact the company
from wich I bought my I-pod?
