Are there free DSS players for Mac OSX Mountain Lion? For an olympus dictaphone.

I recently made the switch from Windows to Mac. I transcribe from an Olympus Dictaphone DS-4000 for a lawyer. I need to download a free DSS player to do this, but I can only find Windows versions.

Does anyone know of any free DSS players for Mac OSX Mountain Lion?

Thanks

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Thats an old recorder there, .....

like you, i use personal recorders alot, however owning 4 of them, and 3 older Olympus recorders,

....I thought that EVEN Olympus dumped the DSS format a long time ago for everyone else also having their recorders record in MP3 format.

Thanks Baby Boomer and PolotinusVeritas.

Baby Boomer I tried that website, but when I downloaded the file it didn't seem to open on my computer. It kept coming up with "Error 17 - File Exists". Do you know what that means?

Plotonoius Veritas - Yes, it's a very old dictaphone. The lawyer is quite ancient himself, I don't think he is one for new things ;-)

That player you linked is just an update to the Pro version (which we don't have at the firm). Do you know of any free players I could download?

I might just buy a Sony one myself and teach him to use it... this is very frustrating!

well the good news is the SONY has fewer buttons and is easier to use than that old Olympus is. 😉

I did another deep search for a working DSS and couldnt find one, HOWEVER when i worked for the Govt. and some Fed. Agents recorded stuff on Olympus i used ONLINE DSS to MP3 converters for their files.
