Power mac G4 Wireless

My power mac G4 has an airport card in it and will not recoginize our netgear wireless router. It can find the wireless connection, but continues to tell me I am entering the incorrect password (obviously I am not). Is there something else I need to do for the computer to recognize the wifi? I have already gone to the network set up and tried to start a new network. I have also gone to the wireless IP address to try to look for something out of the ordinary, but this was a little beyond my scope. Is there a driver, perhaps, that I need to install? Please help!
