Q: "Required file is missing" pops up when i sync my ipod, what do i do?

My ipod is unable to sync because of a Required file is missing and i dont know how to fix this can y ou help me and tell me how to make my ipod sync again?

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3

Nothing in that thread worked. I did restore ipod. Then synched the restored ipod as a new one and that worked.
