Synching Safari bookmarks

I have my iPhone 4 set to synk when I connect it to my iMac and connect to iTunes. I have IOS 6 and OSX 10.8.4. If I bookmark a site in Safari on my iPhone, it doesn't show up in my iMac Safari. Isn't it suuposed to?

in settings/icloud do you have safari turned on?
