curious minds...... I assume its so old that Apple cant/doesnt have parts for same.
A "vintage" Macbook Pro is a Mid/Late 2007 or older model.
So Apple products older than 5 years are now becoming obsolete,...http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1752.
Then where is the next best place to mechanicaly repair apple products if apple will not!
THis only has to do with a business write off scheme, after five OR 7 years (for CA inhabitants) you have to buy a new product or it might get defects which you will not be able to get repaired. Maybe someone has second hand spares you can find on ebay if you search for it and you have to DIY. After 5 years your Apple Device is old.
