I need to clear space on my icloud. I want to delete music from it how do it do that

I need to clear space on my icloud. supposedly my icloud space is almost full. I have gotten rid of apps that i no longer want but that still hasnt freed any space. I am thinking that I have to get rid of some of the music that is stored in icloud. I am only given the option to hide it in icloud not delete it permenately.
