The HP suport, basically, tell's to upgrade the OS.
Their response when you advise them that your OS is already updated?
You really need to deal w/them. If their support is unsatisfactory, you need to find a manufacturer that is Mac friendly. Take your $$$$ elsewhere.

Aug 5, 2013 11:45 AM in response to JJSaraivaby Baby Boomer (USofA),Both HP & Epson are Mac friendly. Both have Mac sections in their user manuals and/or on their customer support websites. My experience is w/Epson. They have a toll free number for tech support if you cannot find answers in their user manual or on their website. They also respond to emails.
Judging by the HP postings here, their tech support is pretty good.
