Guarantee and Apple care

Hey guys!

I bought my macbook pro last year, August 5th 2012.

I have an issue with my keyboard and at the apple store they told that they can fix* it for free within the the year.

*They will replace my keyboard and my trackpad for free.

When I bought my mcbook I also opted for the applecare up to 2015.

My question is does the applecare cover my problem as well? I dont remember the answer of the guy at the store.

It's 5.08pm, I'm far from the city and I cant go now.

Thx for your help.

If its a factory fault, or problem with your Mac that was NOT caused by accident/ water/ abuse, ....then yes it would be covered.

That being said, the Apple genius bar worker needs to make the determination once you hand it over for diagnosis. 😉
