I have had my Apple TV for bout 1 1/2 . It won't update and will not accept my wifi password

My Apple TV will not update to the recent update. It will not allow me to log into my wifi when my wifi is working and I am putting the right wifi password in as we'll. any help will greatly appreciated. I have tried to reboot and restart and both failed.

Please help
