I fully charge my iPod shuffle but the charge only lasts at least five hours , what I supposed to do?

How old is it? If it's brand new, the tech specs says it should last "Up to 15 hours of audio playback when fully charged."

If it is well-used and/or older, the battery capacity will diminish over time.
