When trying to add text notifications on my iphone 5 Through my Ford sync all pages tell me to open settings, click on the sync when it is pair with the car and there should be a Turn on Notifications slide but there is not. Please help.

I heard that Ford Sync now allows the user to have text message notifications appear on the dash board. I have looked up how to do so, the instructions say on our phone click on settings-Bluetooth-when paired with the sync click on sync and there should be a slide option that says turn notifications on. I am using an Iphone 5 with the latest operating system and I do not have a Turn notifications on stting in my bluetooth. Please help
