iPod touch model number MD059LL/A

Answering my own question: model number is a 4th Generation iPod Touch.

Now a comment: why is only the model number shown?

There should be a way to display the "common" name for an iDevice somewhere......this is only a mini-rant! I have this similar complaints about other Apple hardware.....going back to my first Mac in 1988. The "generic" name is used much more often than the specific model.....as in Mac Plus, Mac LCII, iPod (Mini, Nano, Classic, Touch, etc).........
