Setting up iPads with Apple Configurator

Hi. A building shall buy several iPads for the new owners of the apartments. This building shall have a proper domotics app and surveillance apps.

I want to set up these iPads, which the owners shall keep for them, but these apps should not be deleted... The point is: Could the owners keep and use their iPads and install the apps they want plus the apps of the building not to be deleted? Or me, as the "Installer", do I have to allow them to do so?

I would advise using a MDM solution, if you don't and need to change anything on the ipads

you'll need phyical access to the devices. MDM's will push apps, settings, etc OTA as long as the device is online

* Personal

* Institution

* Layered. combines personal & institution.
