How do I sync my iPhone 5 and iPad using iTunes with my new Windows 8 computer? Windows support community implies it's an Apple problem.

Windows Support says you cannot sync Calendar function for iPhones with Windows 8. I used to have no problem syncing my iPhone5 and iPad with my Outlook calendar when running Windows XP.

Did you try the troubleshooting steps on the page you came from?
I just upgraded my pc to Windows 8. How can I sync my iPhone 5 and iPad using a USB cable with iTunes for Windows 8 ?
