My ipad has stalled. The touch screen is not working

Reset iPad

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Note: Data will not be affected.

This happened to me once before with my iPad 2 and I remembered someone in the community gave me great advice...but as I'd forgotten what that was and the problem had arisen again, I came in again.

Dear I have updated my ipad 2 16gb to IOS8.2 but today when i was using it, It suddenly stop responsing me. Only in application on home it is working fine. Please help me out i'm in trouble. Tomorrow my dad is coming to take ipad so i have to fix it today.. Can u give any suggestion about what should I do?
